Adama Camara to Lens

Quiet since 4 August 2026. Last report: Sacha Tavolieri. Probability when it went quiet: 5%.

RC Lens have shown interest in Adama Camara, the 29-year-old France midfielder, but the story sits firmly on the back foot. Paris FC want to keep him this season, and there is even talk at the club of extending his stay rather than selling. Camara is under contract until June 2027, valued at around €3m, with a fee of roughly €2m floated in early discussion. For now this is interest with no momentum behind it. The single thread here comes from Sacha Tavolieri, a reliable operator who scores well for accuracy. His report, though, does not point towards a deal. It frames Paris FC as the party in control, keen to retain the player and even weighing a new contract. One credible voice, and that voice is pouring cold water on the idea. This is a long shot as things stand. For it to move, Paris FC would need to change course entirely, and nothing in the current reporting suggests they will. The selling club's stance is the obstacle, and it is a firm one. Lens would have to raise their interest into a concrete offer that tempts a reluctant seller. Until that happens, the chance stays slim. The fee sits neatly in Lens territory. They paid €3m to sign from FK Sarajevo in 2025 and €3m from R Charleroi SC in 2024, and went to €2m for a Chicago arrival back in 2021. A €2m deal for Camara would be routine business for them. Watch for any softening from Paris FC, or a firm Lens bid that turns interest into negotiation.
