Alan Saldivia to Huracán

Quiet since 29 July 2026. Last report: Vene Casagrande. Probability when it went quiet: 9%.

Huracán have made first contact over Alan Saldivia, the 24-year-old Uruguayan defender at Vasco da Gama. This is early groundwork rather than a formal offer. The Argentine side have sounded out whether Vasco would let the centre-back leave, and the numbers under discussion sit at €1m to €2m, roughly in line with his market value of around €1m. Saldivia is tied to Vasco until the end of 2028, with a club option, so nothing forces a sale. The story rests on a single voice. Vene Casagrande, a reasonably reliable reporter, carries the interest and describes the opening contacts. There is no corroboration from a second source yet, and no sign Vasco have engaged. As it stands this is one credible link and little more. The chance is slim for now. Interest and a fee bracket exist, but interest is not a bid, and a contract running to 2028 hands Vasco all the leverage. For this to move, Huracán would need to firm up talk into an actual offer near the top of that €1m, €2m range, and Vasco would have to decide the defender is surplus. Against the odds is the honest read. The money fits Huracán's habits. They paid €1m to sign from Cerro Porteño, €1m from Panathinaikos in 2018, and €1m from Atl. Rafaela in 2016. A deal at €1m to €2m for Saldivia would be entirely in keeping. Vasco themselves paid €1m to bring him from Colo-Colo in 2026. The next real trigger is a concrete bid from Huracán, and any signal from Vasco that they would listen.
