Alpha Touré to Çorum FK
Quiet since 14 July 2026. Last report: Flavien Trésarrieu. Probability when it went quiet: 10%.
Çorum FK have entered the race to sign Alpha Touré from Metz, the 20-year-old Senegalese midfielder who recently turned down a move to Saudi side Al-Diraiyah. Metz hold him under contract until June 2028 and value him at roughly €5m, with a fee somewhere between €5m and €6m being the working territory. The Turkish club now appear to be the live suitor. The story comes from Flavien Trésarrieu, who reported it on 14 July 2026 with a credibility rating that sits well into the reliable range. It is, for now, a single source, and no second voice has yet corroborated the link with Çorum FK. This is a long shot. Touré has already declined one move, which gives Metz less leverage than they might like but does not guarantee he will accept the next offer. The fee range is broad, which signals that the two clubs are nowhere near an agreed figure. For this to complete, Touré himself needs to want the Turkish option, and the clubs need to close what looks like a meaningful gap on price. The fee bracket sits neatly alongside Metz's recent sales: they moved a player to Udinese for €6m in 2026 and sold to Mainz for €6m back in 2018, with a further €6m deal to Montpellier also on record. Metz are a club that sells at this level, so the commercial logic is consistent. The clearest signal to watch for is Touré publicly agreeing to the move or Metz confirming a bid has been accepted. A second source picking up the Çorum link would also shift the picture.
