Antonino Gallo to Çorum FK
Quiet since 10 July 2026. Last report: Alfredo Pedulla. Probability when it went quiet: 9%.
Çorum FK have made a formal offer for Lecce defender Antonino Gallo, with the reported bid sitting at €2m. Gallo, 26, is under contract at Lecce until June 2027 and carries a market value of around €4m, so the opening figure is well below what Lecce would regard as fair value. The move is in its earliest stage, with no indication yet that the Italian club have engaged seriously with the approach. The story rests on a single source: Alfredo Pedulla, who broke the news on 10 July 2026 and described the offer as exclusive. Pedulla is a well-regarded Italian journalist with a solid record on Serie A business, so the existence of the bid is credible. Beyond his report, no second voice has confirmed it. This is a long shot. Çorum FK's bid is roughly €2m short of Gallo's market value, and Lecce have shown no sign of softening their position. For the move to happen, Lecce would need to accept a significant discount on a player they still have under contract for another year, which is a meaningful obstacle at this point. Lecce have sold defenders at modest fees before. Their 2021 sale to FC Empoli and a 2026 deal with AC Milan both went through at €1m, and a separate transfer to Lech Poznan also landed at that same figure. Those precedents suggest the club will move players on, but a sale at €2m would still represent a loss against Gallo's current valuation. The clearest signal to watch for is whether Lecce respond to the bid at all. An improved offer from Çorum FK, or any indication that Lecce have opened negotiations, would be the first real sign this has legs.
