Bilal El Khannouss to Galatasaray

Galatasaray have made a real move for Bilal El Khannouss, but Stuttgart have knocked it back hard. The Turkish club's opening bid of €22m, excluding bonuses, was rejected outright, and Stuttgart have responded by setting a €60m asking price for their Morocco midfielder. That gap, nearly three times the size of the bid on the table, tells you where this stands: an approach has been made, but a deal is nowhere close. The story so far rests on one source. Santi Aouna, a reporter with solid credibility on Bundesliga business, broke the news and has repeated the same details in a follow-up post, giving specific figures for both the rejected bid and Stuttgart's demand. No rival reporter has corroborated it yet, so treat it as credible but still a single voice until others weigh in. The chance of this actually happening looks slim for now. Stuttgart show no sign of budging from a figure well above El Khannouss's market value of around €35m, and Galatasaray's opening offer suggests they are not yet prepared to pay anywhere near what is being asked. For this to move, either Galatasaray have to raise their bid dramatically or Stuttgart have to soften their stance, and neither looks likely at this point.
