Bremer to Bayern

This move fell through. Last report: Fabrizio Romano, 7 August 2026.

Bayern Munich's interest in Juventus defender Gleison Bremer has stalled. Bayern submitted a bid understood to be in the region of €40m, but Juventus want considerably more, with the asking price sitting above €47m. Crucially, Christian Falk reported on 10 July that Bayern's move is conditional on Juventus first pursuing Kim, meaning this is effectively two deals that need to move in tandem before either can happen. The story has been covered by three credible outlets. Christian Falk at BILD broke the Bayern angle and the Kim condition. Gianluca Di Marzio at Sky Sport Italia corroborated the €40m bid and separately reported Galatasaray's approach. La Gazzetta dello Sport added detail on the Galatasaray wage offer, reported on 21 July as €8m net per season, which Bremer has rejected, though he has not closed the door entirely. This is a long shot. The fee gap is real, the Kim condition remains unresolved, no new bid has come in since early July, and Bremer has cooled on Galatasaray over wages. For Bayern to get this done, Juventus must first move for Kim, Bayern must then raise their offer materially, and Juventus must agree to sell a centre-back contracted until 2029. All three things need to happen. Bremer's 2022 move from Torino to Juventus cost €52m. Bayern paid €51m for a Fulham defender in 2024, so the valuation Juventus are holding out for is not without precedent at this club. The clearest signal to watch is any confirmed Juventus approach for Kim. That is the unlock. Without it, Bayern's interest stays dormant.
