Davinson Sánchez to Como

Quiet since 10 July 2026. Last report: Daniele Longo. Probability when it went quiet: 11%.

Como want Davinson Sánchez to shore up their defence and have made their intent clear, but Galatasaray have knocked back an opening bid of €20m and are holding out for something closer to €30m. The Colombian, fresh off a World Cup appearance, is reportedly keen on the move and seen as Cesc Fàbregas's top defensive target. Galatasaray, though, have him tied down until 2029 and see no urgency to sell cheap. The story has been carried by a decent spread of Italian voices. Daniele Longo broke the rejected bid, Alfredo Pedulla has confirmed Fàbregas rates Sánchez as his first choice, and Gianluigi Longari flagged the interest earlier in the summer. Gianluca di Marzio has floated a €22m figure. None of this is a single unreliable tweet: it is corroborated across several established names, even if nobody has yet reported an agreed fee. The chance here is genuinely finely balanced. Como clearly want the deal and the player is willing, but Galatasaray's asking price sits well above Como's opening offer and above the player's estimated market value of around €16m. Until one side moves, meaningfully, this stays contested rather than close. Como have paid similar money before for defensive reinforcements, including €23m for a player from Real Betis and €19m for one from Celtic in 2025, so a fee in the twenties would fit their recent pattern of spending. Sánchez himself left Tottenham for Galatasaray for just €10m in 2023, a reminder of how far his valuation has swung. Watch for whether Como return with an improved bid closer to €25m, and whether Galatasaray shift off their €30m demand
