Eli Kroupi to Tottenham Hotspur

Quiet since 13 July 2026. Last report: Sky Sports (Michael Bridge). Probability when it went quiet: 3%.

Tottenham are being talked up as the club best placed to sign Eli Kroupi, the 20 year old French attacker who has become one of Bournemouth's most closely watched assets. The Premier League club are said to be preparing a fresh push to win the race for him, but Bournemouth's position has not shifted. Their read is blunt: they are not selling, Kroupi is tied down until 2030, and even an offer as big as €100m would likely be knocked back. The claim that Spurs are readying a move comes from Graeme Bailey, whose reporting carries decent standing in the game and who states plainly that Tottenham want to prise Kroupi away. That said, this is currently a single credible voice rather than a story confirmed across multiple outlets. Barcelona and PSG are also mentioned as interested parties, which tells you Kroupi's stock is rising, but none of the interest has yet produced anything close to a bid. Call this a long shot for now. Bournemouth's refusal to engage, allied to the length of Kroupi's contract, makes any deal hard to see happening soon. For Spurs to have a real chance, Bournemouth's stance would need to soften considerably, or a fee so enormous it changes their calculation entirely. Right now neither looks close. Bournemouth have shown before they can be prised from their prized players at the right number. They sold to Tottenham for €64m in 2024, to PSG for €63m in 2025, and to a rival Premier League club for €72m in 2026. Kroupi's valuation, if it ever gets there, would need to beat all three. Watch for any sign Bournemouth open the door, whether that is a changed tone fro
