Enzo Fernández to Real Madrid

This move fell through. Last report: BBC Sport, 3 July 2026.

Real Madrid have Enzo Fernández on a shortlist of five midfielders they are tracking this window, and the 25-year-old Argentine is openly keen on a move to the Bernabéu. All three of those conditions need to change for this to cross the line. Real Madrid's recent transfer record shows they are comfortable spending at this level: Jude Bellingham cost £108 million from Dortmund in 2023, and Aurélien T
