Santos Laguna have made a formal opening bid of €2m for Instituto midfielder Gastón Lodico, 28, who is under contract until the end of 2027. Instituto rejected the offer as too low, though both clubs are said to be optimistic that a deal can be reached somewhere in the €2m, €3m range that is currently on the table.
