Issiaka Kamate to Granada

Quiet since 20 June 2026. Last report: Matteo Moretto. Probability when it went quiet: 3%.

Granada have submitted a formal loan-with-option-to-buy offer to Inter for 21-year-old French midfielder Issiaka Kamate. The move is officially at interest stage, with no agreement confirmed, and the bid is sitting with Inter while the two clubs, presumably, weigh their positions. The report comes from Matteo Moretto, a well-regarded Spanish and Italian transfer journalist who carries solid credibility on cross-border moves. It is, however, a single source, and the story is now nine days old with no corroboration or update from a second voice since. This one is finely balanced. Granada have made the concrete step of lodging a formal bid, which counts for something, but Kamate has suitors in multiple directions. Kasimpasa and a cluster of Italian clubs are also involved, which means Inter hold leverage and Granada must compete. A loan move of this kind is administratively straightforward, so the hold-up is not structure but competition. Nothing is close to done. Granada's recent recruitment history gives useful context. Their signings have repeatedly landed around the €1m mark, as with their deals for players from Wolves U21 in 2024 and from Paços Ferreira, Málaga CF, and Nacional, all at that same valuation. Kamate's market value sits at roughly €1m, so the financial framing of a loan-with-option is consistent with how the club has operated. The clearest next trigger is a second report either confirming Inter's acceptance or revealing a rival club has moved ahead. If Italian interest solidifies into a firm offer, Granada's position weakens quickly.
