Jamal Musiala to Galatasaray
This move fell through. Last report: Florian Plettenberg, 26 July 2026.
There is, in truth, nothing live here. Galatasaray have publicly denied the whole thing, announcing that all reports linking them with a Jamal Musiala loan are simply not true. The German international is 23, valued at around €101m, and tied to Bayern München until June 2030. On paper the sums floated, somewhere between €127m and €180m, sit far above anything Galatasaray have ever spent. This is a story the buying club has actively shot down rather than one they are chasing. The sourcing is narrow but authoritative. Fabrizio Musiala's status here rests on a single post from Fabrizio Romano, a reliable and well-regarded voice, relaying Galatasaray's own official statement on 26 July 2026. So this is not thin gossip. It is a credible reporter carrying a firm, on-the-record denial from the club named as the destination. Honestly, this is a long shot, and the reason is blunt: one of the two clubs has already said it isn't happening. For any life to return, Galatasaray would have to reverse a public denial, Bayern would have to sanction the exit of a player signed until 2030, and a fee north of €127m would need funding. None of those looks close. The scale gap is stark. Galatasaray's biggest known outlay is €75m from Napoli, with other business at €31m, €28m and €18m (2024). A deal starting at €127m would dwarf all of it, and Musiala's own last move, Chelsea Youth to Bayern U17 for €0m in 2019, tells you how far he has travelled. Watch for whether any second reliable source contradicts the denial. Until one does, treat this as dead.
