Luca Langoni to Anderlecht
Quiet since 4 August 2026. Last report: German Garcia Grova. Probability when it went quiet: 12%.
Anderlecht have made a formal offer for Luca Langoni, the 24-year-old Argentine attacker at New England. The Belgian side want to bring him across, and they are not alone: a second club has also lodged a proposal, so New England hold a decision rather than a single suitor. Langoni is under contract until the end of 2027, with a club option attached, and his market value sits at around €5m. The fee under discussion runs from €4m to €6m. So far this rests on a single report from German Garcia Grova, a source of decent standing rather than a benchmark name. It is one credible link, not a chorus. No club statement, no player quote, no confirmation from the other side of the deal. Treat it as an early, plausible thread rather than a done piece of business. On balance this one is against the odds for now. A rival proposal is on the table, which splits New England's attention and gives them leverage to hold out. For Anderlecht to win the race they would need to match or beat that competing bid and agree terms with a player whose current club need not sell. Plenty has to fall their way. The money is entirely in keeping with how Anderlecht do business. They paid €5m to sign from Sint-Truiden in 2025, €5m from Standard Liège in 2025, and €5m from Nice back in 2023. A €4m to €6m outlay fits that pattern exactly. The next trigger is New England accepting one offer over the other. Watch for a fee agreed and a medical booked.
