Luis Henrique to Roma

This move fell through. Last report: Fabrizio Romano, 24 August 2026.

Inter are asking €30m for Luis Henrique, the 24-year-old Brazilian midfielder contracted until June 2030, and Roma have been the interested party since the approach was first floated roughly two weeks ago. The front remains open, in Di Marzio's words, but momentum has clearly stalled. Pedullà's most recent dispatch is pointed: he publicly challenges whoever reported a near-€30m Roma offer accepted by Inter, saying no such conclusion materialised and asking plainly what happened. The story was first moved by Di Marzio, whose credibility on Italian football is about as high as it gets, and Pedullà has been active throughout. The two are not singing from the same sheet right now. Di Marzio reported a base of understanding between the clubs and was waiting on the player's green light; Pedullà, in his latest note, is sceptical that Roma will meet the €30m Inter demand at all. That tension is the honest state of the sourcing. The gap between Inter's €30m asking price and Luis Henrique's market value of roughly €22m is the central problem. The move is finely balanced, leaning against completion unless Roma decide the player is worth overpaying for at a busy stage of the window. For context, Roma's recent outlay for individuals sits in the €25m to €27m bracket, including a €27m deal from Sevilla and a €26m signing from Atalanta in 2019. Inter pushing for €30m would put this above Roma's typical individual spend, which may explain the reluctance. The cleare
