Luka Stojkovic to Lazio

Quiet since 10 July 2026. Last report: Gianluca Di Marzio. Probability when it went quiet: 6%.

Lazio have identified Luka Stojkovic as a transfer target, with the Serie A club registering strong interest in the 22-year-old Dinamo Zagreb midfielder. No bid has been lodged and no talks are confirmed, so this sits firmly in the early-interest category rather than anything close to an agreement. Stojkovic is contracted to Dinamo until June 2028, which gives the Croatian club a solid negotiating position. The story comes from a single source: Gianluca Di Marzio, who posted on 10 July 2026 that Lazio "really like" Stojkovic. Di Marzio is a well-regarded Italian football journalist with a strong track record on Serie A moves, so the interest itself is credible. That said, one post, however reliable the author, does not constitute a developing deal. This is a long shot at present. Lazio have done no more than register their admiration, and Dinamo hold all the contractual leverage with four years remaining. For this to progress, Lazio would need to convert interest into a concrete approach, and the two clubs would need to agree a fee in the €5m to €7m range. Nothing so far suggests that conversation has started. Lazio's recent recruitment history shows a pattern of sub-€7m signings to build squad depth: they paid €6m for a player from KV Oostende in 2017, €6m for a signing from Barça U19 in 2019, €6m for a player from RM Castilla in 2022, and €6m in a deal from Arsenal in 2025. The fee range being discussed for Stojkovic fits that template exactly. Watch for a formal bid from Lazio or a response from Dinamo Zagreb.
