Marc Casadó to RB Leipzig
Quiet since 26 August 2026. Last report: Fabrizio Romano. Probability when it went quiet: 4%.
Marc Casadó's future at Barcelona looks all but settled in one respect: he is expected to leave. What is not settled is where. RB Leipzig have emerged as one of several clubs who have rung Barcelona in the last 48 hours to ask about his exit terms, according to the latest reporting. Turkish clubs are also circling. But this is still the enquiry stage. Nobody has lodged a bid, and no fee has been agreed with anyone. The story comes from a single source here, though it is a significant one. Fabrizio Romano broke the Leipzig contact, and his track record on Barcelona news carries real weight. Even so, this is a lone tier-one note rather than something corroborated elsewhere yet, and there is no second voice confirming Leipzig's level of seriousness. On the numbers alone, this looks a long shot for now. Casadó carries a market value around €18m, and any fee would likely sit in the €16m to €22m range, which is workable for a club like Leipzig. The trouble is competition. Other destinations, including a Deportivo La Coruña move, are being talked about far more heavily right now, and Leipzig's approach reads as one of several calls rather than a concerted chase. It would take a firm offer, and Barcelona's willingness to deal, to change that. Barcelona have sold to clubs abroad before at similar levels, including the €20m deal that took a player to Everton in 2018, so a fee in this bracket would not be unusual business for them. Watch for any follow-up reporting that upgrades Leipzig from an enquiry to an actual bid, or for Barcelona setting a public asking price that other suitors
