Marcelo Brozović to Real Madrid

This move fell through. Last report: Sacha Tavolieri, 9 July 2026.

Marcelo Brozović has left Al Nassr and is now a free agent, with Real Madrid among the clubs to whom he could theoretically move at no transfer cost. A free signing of a 33-year-old only makes sense if the club genuinely rates him a squad necessity, and nothing in the current reporting establishes that. A lot would have to fall into place. Brozović moved from Inter to Al Nassr for €16m in 2023, so his Saudi chapter is now closed. A return to European football on a free is a credible trajectory; the Real Madrid destination specifically is the part that needs substance. The concrete trigger to watch is whether a named Real Madrid official, or a benchmark r
