Mario Stroeykens to Parma

Quiet since 24 June 2026. Last report: Gianluigi Longari. Probability when it went quiet: 6%.

Parma have registered an interest in Mario Stroeykens, the 21-year-old Anderlecht midfielder, without anything close to a formal move on the table. As things stand this is early groundwork, one Italian club looking at a possibility rather than opening talks. Stroeykens is contracted at Anderlecht until June 2028, and the fee under discussion sits somewhere between £3.6m and £5.1m. Parma are said to face competition from other European clubs, so they are not alone in the room. The link comes from Gianluigi Longari, a reasonably reliable Italian voice, flagged as an exclusive. It is a single report, though, and a fairly cautious one at that: he frames Parma as among the clubs watching with interest, not as a suitor with a bid ready. For now the sourcing is thin, one credible name and no corroboration elsewhere. This is a long shot. Interest is a long way from an agreement, and with rival clubs circling and a player tied down until 2028, Anderlecht hold the cards on price. For it to move, Parma would need to convert curiosity into a concrete offer near the top of that range and see off the competition. Nothing yet suggests they are there. The money would be in keeping with how Parma operate. They paid £5m to sign from Venezia in 2026, and spent £5m apiece on arrivals in 2020. Anderlecht, for their part, banked £5m selling to Al-Ittihad in 2025, so both sides know this bracket well. Watch for Parma turning interest into an actual bid, and for any rival club firming up first.
