Mile Svilar to Juventus

Quiet since 30 June 2026. Last report: Alfredo Pedulla. Probability when it went quiet: 5%.

Juventus have made an enquiry about Mile Svilar, and Roma have put up a wall. That is the shape of it today. The 26-year-old Serbia goalkeeper is tied to Roma until June 2030, a long contract that hands the selling club all the leverage. Juventus have tested the water with a bid worth €34m, but Roma's stance so far reads as a flat refusal to engage. Svilar's value sits around €35m, and the numbers being floated stretch from that opening €34m up towards €47m. The reporting rests on one man. Alfredo Pedulla, a well-regarded Italian voice, frames it as a Juventus sounding-out met by Roma resistance. He is a reliable name, but this is a single link rather than something corroborated across several desks. Treat it as a genuine strand, not a done deal. This is a long shot as things stand. For it to gather pace, Juventus would need to move well beyond a first enquiry and Roma would have to soften a position that currently looks immovable. A goalkeeper contracted until 2030 does not leave cheaply or quietly, and nothing in the current picture suggests Roma want to sell. Juventus have paid this kind of money for players before. They took Valencia's man for €40m in 2018 and signed from Atalanta for €39m in 2020, so a fee in the mid-thirties would be in keeping with how they spend. The 2015 Palermo deal at €41m sits in the same bracket. Watch for a second, firmer bid from Juventus, or any sign Roma are willing to open talks. Until one of those shifts, the wall holds.
