Myron Boadu to PSV
This move fell through. Last report: Mike Verweij, 29 July 2026.
Myron Boadu is not heading to PSV. The 25-year-old attacker, currently a free agent with his contract running only until 30 June 2026, had been on PSV's radar as a no-fee addition. That interest has now fallen away. PSV's decision-makers grew doubtful about the move, and the club has stepped back rather than push it through. Boadu, meanwhile, remains without a club and is searching for his next one. The reporting here comes from Mike Verweij, a reliable voice who carries a solid credibility rating, relaying the news through a colleague. That single line is the whole of what we have. It is a credible source, but it is one report and no more, so treat it as the current state rather than the final word. This one looks like a long shot. PSV walking away is not the same as the door being bolted shut, yet as things stand the club has cooled and Boadu has been pointed elsewhere. For it to revive, PSV would need to rediscover the appetite they have just lost, and there is nothing in front of us to suggest that is happening. The fee is no obstacle, since he is available for free. The doubt sits with PSV themselves. Boadu's price history frames how far his stock has slid. He cost Monaco €17m from AZ Alkmaar in 2021, then moved from Monaco to PSV for just €1m. A free transfer now fits that downward line. What to watch: whether PSV reopen talks, or whether a rival club moves for a fit, no-fee striker first. His free-agent status means anyone can act.
