Nathan Zézé to Galatasaray
Quiet since 3 August 2026. Last report: Loic Tanzi. Probability when it went quiet: 12%.
Galatasaray have made an offer to NEOM SC for Nathan Zézé, the 21-year-old French centre-back. The Turkish side want to prise him out of the Saudi Pro League barely a year into his stay, and the numbers being discussed run from €27m to €38m. Zézé is tied to NEOM until June 2030, so this is no distressed sale. NEOM hold every card on price, and the gap between what Galatasaray fancy paying and what a defender on a five-year deal is worth remains the sticking point. The link comes from Loic Tanzi, a well-regarded voice on the French market, who reports that Galatasaray have tabled a bid. That is a single, credible source rather than a chorus. Tanzi carries weight, but as things stand nobody else has corroborated the story, so treat it as one solid thread rather than a woven case. This one sits genuinely in the balance. Galatasaray have shown they will spend, yet Zézé's valuation of around €20m already looks modest against a fee range topping out at €38m. For it to happen, NEOM must be willing to cash in early, and Galatasaray must stretch to the higher end. Right now neither of those is settled, which keeps the chance even at best. Galatasaray know this market. They paid €31m to sign from Monaco and €28m to take a player from Trabzonspor in 2025, so a fee in the high twenties or thirties for Zézé fits their recent habits. NEOM themselves bought him from Nantes for €20m. Watch for a second reliable source, or for NEOM to name their price. A bid accepted would turn talk into a deal.
