Nazareno Colombo to Talleres Córdoba

Quiet since 14 August 2026. Last report: German Garcia Grova. Probability when it went quiet: 14%.

Talleres Córdoba are back in for Nazareno Colombo, and the shape of the deal has changed. What started in June as talk of an outright purchase has shifted, with Talleres now working on an 18 month loan with an option to buy rather than the straight €2m bid first floated. Racing Club, who had resisted moving the centre back on, are reported to have finally opened the door to letting him go. Colombo has 18 months left on his contract, the same stretch now mirrored in the proposed loan term, and Jorge Sampaoli is said to be the coach pushing hardest for him at Talleres. The story is well sourced for Argentine football reporting. German Garcia Grova has driven the coverage since June and returns with the freshest line on the loan structure, while Cesar Luis Merlo, generally the more heavyweight name of the two, corroborates that Talleres are now negotiating a loan with Racing. Two established Argentine reporters aligning on the same detail within a day of each other is about as solid as this kind of transfer chatter gets locally. Even so, this remains a move to treat with caution. Racing's willingness to talk is new and notable, but a loan with an option is a softer commitment than the sale Talleres originally wanted, and nothing has been formally agreed. Call it a long shot for now, one that needs Racing to sign off on structure and terms, and needs Talleres to firm up the option fee, before it can be called done. Colombo's market history gives some context for value. He joined Racing from Defensa for €3m in 2023, having arrived at Defensa from Estudiantes LP for €1m in 2022,
