Nicolás Tripichio to Independiente

Quiet since 27 July 2026. Last report: German Garcia Grova. Probability when it went quiet: 9%.

Independiente have begun sounding out the ground for Nicolás Tripichio, the San Lorenzo captain and a 30-year-old midfielder tied to his club until the end of 2027. This is very early work rather than a formal offer. The Independiente hierarchy have asked about the conditions of a deal, with the intention of strengthening the centre of the pitch. A fee in the region of €1m to €2m is what the talk points to, roughly in line with his market value of about €2m. For now, though, nothing has been tabled and no agreement exists. The link comes from German Garcia Grova, and it rests on his word alone. That matters. His reliability sits at the modest end of the scale, and no benchmark reporter or second voice has yet corroborated the story. Treat it as a single, thinly sourced whisper, not a confirmed pursuit. This is a longshot as things stand. Tripichio is San Lorenzo's captain with a contract running to December 2027, which hands his club real leverage and no obligation to sell. For it to move, Independiente would need to turn an enquiry into a genuine bid at the €1m to €2m mark, and San Lorenzo would need a reason to let their leader go. The fee sits comfortably within Independiente's habits. They paid San Martín (SJ) €2m in 2023 and Athletico-PR €2m in 2025, and Tripichio himself joined San Lorenzo from Defensa for €1m in 2024, so the numbers are entirely in keeping. Watch for a first concrete offer, or a second reliable source, to lift this above rumour.
