Pablo Ferreira to Oremburg
Quiet since 31 August 2026. Last report: German Garcia Grova. Probability when it went quiet: 10%.
Oremburg are said to be negotiating for Pablo Ferreira, the 21-year-old Platense midfielder, with a formal offer expected to follow. The move is still at the talking stage. Nothing has been submitted in writing yet, and Platense have made no public response. This is a rumour rather than a negotiation with visible terms, and it sits right at the start of any process that would take Ferreira out of Argentina. The report comes from German Garcia Grova, whose credibility sits around the middle of the pack for this kind of story. It is so far a single source, with no second voice corroborating the interest or the expected formal bid. That does not make it worthless, but it does mean the story needs independent confirmation before it can be treated as anything firmer than an early signal. Call this a long shot for now. Ferreira has a contract running to the end of 2029, which gives Platense leverage and no urgency to sell cheaply. For the move to happen, Oremburg would need to actually table the offer being described, Platense would need to see it as worth losing a young midfielder under long-term contract, and personal terms would need to fall into place too. Right now none of that has been shown to exist beyond the expectation of a bid. Platense have sold before. They moved a player to AC Milan for €4m, another to CA Talleres for €2m, and sent one to Remo for €2m in 2026. Those deals show the club will do business at sensible fees, but none of them involved Oremburg, so this would be new territory for both sides. Watch for whether Oremburg actually lodge the formal offer Garcia
