Robbie Ure to Lecce

Quiet since 13 July 2026. Last report: Alfredo Pedulla. Probability when it went quiet: 3%.

Lecce have identified Robbie Ure, the 22-year-old Scottish attacker at Allsvenskan side Sirius, as their first-choice signing and have held deep talks over a transfer. Their opening offer stood at €1.8m plus a sell-on clause, which Sirius rejected. Lecce have since submitted a second bid of €2m, still short of the Swedish club's asking price of €4m. The gap has not closed, and the move is currently stalled. All of this comes from a single source: Alfredo Pedulla, the Italian journalist who reported the story on 13 July 2026. Pedulla carries reasonable credibility and has a track record on Serie A business, but this remains a one-voice link. No second reporter has corroborated the claim, which matters when assessing how seriously to weigh it. The chance of this deal completing looks slim for now. Lecce are clearly keen, but a €2m difference between bid and ask is significant relative to the sums involved. Sirius hold Ure under contract until the end of 2029, so they are under no pressure to sell cheaply. Unless Lecce close the gap, the deal goes nowhere. Nice also have a live interest, which gives Sirius further reason to hold firm. Lecce's recent transfer history shows they are willing to spend in the €5m to €8m range when they want a player: they paid €8m for a signing from Dunajska Streda, €6m from another deal, and €5m on separate occasions from Charleroi and Fiorentina in 2023. Against that backdrop, moving to €4m for Ure would sit well within their established ceiling. The concrete thing to watch is whether Lecce return with a third and improved bid that meets Sirius's
