Robert Andrich to RB Leipzig

Quiet since 27 August 2026. Last report: Florian Plettenberg. Probability when it went quiet: 5%.

RB Leipzig have registered an interest in Robert Andrich, and both Bayer Leverkusen and the player himself have been told about it. That is as far as it goes right now. Nothing is advanced. Andrich, 31, has a contract at Leverkusen until 30 June 2028, and while the club would permit an exit, he can equally picture himself staying put. The numbers under discussion sit between €4m and €6m, broadly in line with a market value of around €6m. The link comes from Florian Plettenberg, a well-regarded reporter whose word carries real weight. That is a genuine strength. It is also, so far, a single source rather than a chorus, and Plettenberg himself frames it as early-stage interest worth tracking rather than a deal in motion. This is a long shot as things stand. For it to move, Leipzig would need to turn curiosity into a concrete bid, Leverkusen would need to sanction the sale, and Andrich would have to decide he actively wants to go rather than stay. None of those three things has happened yet, and the player's own openness to remaining is the biggest brake. Andrich knows this kind of fee well. He joined Leverkusen from Union Berlin for €7m, and before that moved from Heidenheim to Union Berlin for €3m in 2019. The €4m to €6m being floated here fits that pattern comfortably. The next real trigger is a formal Leipzig approach. Watch for an opening bid, or for Andrich signalling he wants out before Deadline Day.
