Roberto Piccoli to Lazio
Quiet since 5 July 2026. Last report: Alfredo Pedulla. Probability when it went quiet: 5%.
Lazio want Roberto Piccoli, and they are pushing. The latest word has them ready to keep pressing Fiorentina for the 25-year-old Italy attacker, who is tied to a deal running until June 2030. Lazio have floated Pinamonti as part of the conversation, but Piccoli is the man they actually prefer. For any of this to happen, Lazio and Fiorentina need to strike an agreement, and right now they are some way from one. A €14m bid is on the table, with the discussion stretching up towards €20m. This rests on a single source: Alfredo Pedulla, a well-regarded voice who carries decent weight in the Italian market. His note is recent, from 5 July 2026, and he is clear that Lazio will insist. Still, one reliable reporter on his own is a thin foundation, and there is no corroboration from a second name yet. As it stands this is a long shot. Piccoli is comfortable on a contract to 2030, so Fiorentina hold the cards and have no pressure to sell. The gap between the €14m already offered and the higher figures being talked about is the obvious obstacle, and the two clubs must first agree a fee before anything else moves. The money would sit neatly with what Lazio usually spend. They paid Juventus €16m in 2025, Ajax €16m in 2026 and Hellas Verona €16m in 2024, so a deal in that range is very much their comfort zone. The next real trigger is a bid Fiorentina actually accept, or a second trusted reporter backing Pedulla's line. Until the fee moves, nothing does.
