Thayllon to Lazio

Quiet since 20 July 2026. Last report: Andre Hernan. Probability when it went quiet: 10%.

Lazio have been linked with Avaí forward Thayllon, 19, whose contract runs until November 2026. The Italian club are said to have registered interest in a player who has contributed 11 goals and 11 assists, with reported figures placing Avaí's asking price at around €2m and a bid in the region of €1m. The two clubs are currently some way apart on the fee. The sole source here is Argentine journalist Andre Hernan, who broke the link on 20 July 2026 and supplied both sets of figures. Hernan carries reasonable credibility but this is a single voice so far, with no corroboration from an Italian or Brazilian outlet. That makes the story worth tracking rather than treating as settled. This is a long shot for now. The gap between Avaí's €2m asking price and the €1m bid is meaningful at this level, and the story rests on one report with no indication that personal terms have been discussed or that Lazio have escalated contact. Thayllon's age and productivity are clear attractions, but the move needs considerably more momentum before it looks likely to happen. Avaí have previously sold at a modest level, with their deal to Lille fetching €4m, which frames Thayllon's valuation as roughly in keeping with the club's recent transfer activity. Lazio's own signings have typically cost far more, so a deal of under €2m would sit well below their recent spending on arrivals. The clearest next trigger is whether Lazio return with a revised bid closer to Avaí's valuation. A second source corroborating interest, or any signal from the player's camp, would also shift the picture meaningfully.
