Tyrese Asante to Monza

Quiet since 22 July 2026. Last report: Gianluigi Longari. Probability when it went quiet: 12%.

Monza are working on a move for Maccabi Tel Aviv defender Tyrese Asante, 24, whose market value sits at roughly €3m. The Dutch international has already given his personal approval to the switch, but Monza have yet to table a formal offer to Maccabi. Longari reported a potential fee in the €1m to €2m range, with a €1m bid referenced. Until the club-side approach is made official, this remains exactly that: an interest, not a negotiation. Both reports come from Gianluigi Longari, published on 22 July 2026. Longari carries solid credibility and has broken this story exclusively. There is no second voice corroborating it yet, which keeps sourcing strength at one reliable but uncorroborated link. Asante's personal willingness is real, but willingness alone does not make a deal. Monza must still formalise their approach to Maccabi, agree a fee, and close a contract. Lecce are also linked with Asante, which adds a complicating thread. Until a bid lands on Maccabi's desk, this is against the odds, held back entirely by inaction on the club-side stage. Monza have form in this fee bracket. They signed from Pescara for €1m and from Pordenone for €2m in 2021, from Pisa for €2m in 2022, and from Estoril U23 for €2m in 2026. A deal for Asante at €1m to €2m would sit comfortably inside what is a well-established pattern for the club. The next concrete step is a formal Monza bid reaching Maccabi. If that offer arrives, talks on fee become the new battleground. Movement from Lecce would raise the temperature further and could force Monza's hand.
