Victor Osimhen to Al Hilal

This move fell through. Last report: Fabrizio Romano, 12 August 2026.

Al Hilal made an approach for Victor Osimhen, and Galatasaray shut the door on it. The Saudi club sounded out the Nigerian's availability, but Galatasaray replied that they have no intention of selling their striker, who is under contract until June 2029. A fee in the region of €65m was floated, well short of anything that would tempt his current club. As things stand today, this move has collapsed rather than stalled. Sacha Tavolieri carried the original detail, reporting first that Galatasaray were open to a €65m sale and then, within hours, that they had told Al Hilal they would not do business. Fabrizio Romano, one of the most trusted voices in the market, went further and cooled it entirely: "There's nothing between Osimhen and Al Hilal. Zero." With a benchmark reporter dismissing it outright, the sourcing points away from a deal, not towards one. This is a long shot, and comfortably so. For it to revive, Al Hilal would need to return with a figure far closer to the top of the €65m to €95m range, and Galatasaray would have to change a position they have stated plainly. Right now neither looks likely, and the leading reporting says there is simply nothing here. Galatasaray paid €75m to sign Osimhen from Napoli, who themselves bought him from Lille for €79m in 2020. A €65m offer sits below both marks, which helps explain the flat refusal. The next trigger would be a fresh, materially higher bid from Al Hilal. Without one, and without Galatasaray softening, there is nothing to move on.
