Zeno Debast to Arsenal

Quiet since 23 July 2026. Last report: Sacha Tavolieri. Probability when it went quiet: 8%.

Arsenal have been linked with Sporting CP defender Zeno Debast, the 22-year-old Belgian international under contract in Portugal until 2030. The reported fee range sits between €37m and €53m, a significant premium on the roughly €28m market valuation attached to him. The one concrete piece of reporting comes from Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who carried the story on 23 July 2026 specifically to knock it down. Tavolieri, a reliable voice on Belgian player movements, stated plainly that Debast is expected to remain at Sporting CP for the 2026/27 season despite the Arsenal links. The club paid €45m to sign a player from Mönchengladbach in 2016 and €44m from Bologna more recently, so the numbers involved are not unusual for them. Debast himself moved from Anderlecht to Sporting for €18m in 2024, meaning any Arsenal deal would represent a sharp uplift on that figure in just two years. The clearest signal to watch is whether Arsenal or Sporting CP acknowl
