When does the summer 2026 transfer window close?

For the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, the Eredivisie and the Primeira Liga, the summer 2026 window closes on Tuesday 1 September 2026. The exact cut-off differs by country: the Bundesliga shuts first at 6:00pm CEST, Serie A at 8:00pm CEST, and the Premier League at 11:00pm BST. The Saudi Pro League runs later, closing on Friday 11 September 2026.

What is deadline day?

Deadline day is the final day clubs can register incoming transfers for the season. It is the busiest day of the window, and a move agreed after the deadline cannot be registered until the next window opens.
